What is Leadership Merced?
Leadership Merced is a Chamber Program that incorporates emerging area leaders from Merced County who share a common goal; to serve their community and become better leaders . Anyone from private or public sectors can join the class which consists of one- or two-day sessions held each month for 10 months including a three-day weekend retreat.
How are the sessions?
Each session has different content, such as Healthcare and Education, Infrastructure, Government, Economy & Environment, among many others. The purpose and objective of the program is to broaden the class members' perspective on a variety of issues and topics that affect our region and to learn skill sets to render more effective decision-making. Participants will be challenged to reconsider traditional means of thinking by being exposed to other perspectives during each session and experiences with individuals representing different viewpoints and cultures.
